Democracy Smock-Neck Printed Top

I like the style elements of this blouse, but I noticed that it was laying kind of skimpy on the models in their regular sizes. None of them had top button closed and the back of the blouse seemed kind of tight for a peasant style blouse. So when an "as is" blouse became available in 2 sizes up from what I regularly wear, I ordered it, and Happy I did. This blouse is beautiful and washed it on gentle cycle and put it on hanger to dry and needed no ironing. Fits me like a flowing peasant blouse.

I just love blue and white. I was worried that the flouncy sleeves would make me look like a linebacker, but thankfully they don't. I have a favorite blouse that is easily 30 years old! It has seen better days, but I wear it every time my driver's license gets renewed! It is getting fragile to wear often, this can take it's place in my wardrobe, and just save the old one for my next driver's license photo! I never realized I had worn that old one until the 3rd renewal! This one is beautiful.

I ordered both colors in Small. I am 5'4" and 145 lbs. The details in these tops are absolutely beautiful, the fit is perfect, and you can dress up or down. I love the Democracy line of clothing.

Bought this top in the purple color, usual size med. Be aware it has no stretch in the fabric so order your accurate size. Fit was good on me giving me a slight fitted look, but not too small or too large. The design and quality of the top is very good. I really like Democracy tops; always a unique design.

I love Democracy but was disappointed in this one. The colors arent nearly as pretty as they appeared on TV. It was beautiful on the show host but not so much in person.

I've noticed lately Democracy sizing is getting smaller. I've gotten items from them in 3X and it's always fit perfectly. This particular shirt in 3X is more like a 1X. I could barely get it on as it was a very tight fit. The hem of the shirt almost hit the top of my jeans. I find this very frustrating. It's a beautiful top but it's obviously going back. Please reevaluate your sizing.

This was a perfect fit and a perfect shirt on arrival - one wash and it shrunk by at least 1 size - so this is a one and done wear kind of shirt.
