Chef Jet Tila designed his 8" Hybrid Ceramic Nonstick Clad Stainless Steel Skillet with a tri-ply stainless steel cooking pan consisting of three layers: an exterior of magnetic stainless steel (so it can be used on any range, even induction), a core of pure aluminum (which provides even heating not only across the bottom, but up the sides), and a top layer of stainless steel with an ingenious nonstick layered into it. The surface of the skillet is a combination of raised stainless steel designs (his logo, by the way) with a ceramic nonstick in between—the perfect balance between sear and release. It's metal utensil safe, but wooden and silicone spatulas are recommended to maintain nonstick performance over time.
