Kitchen HQ Special Edition "Marble" Speed Drum Grater

This product is a great concept! It works fair. The one thing that seems faulty is when I put it together to use, the large piece that the blade fits in doesnt stay in place. It doesnt click into place or anything so you have to pay close attention while turning the crank because that other piece slowly slides out if you dont hold it in place.

As far as kitchen gadgets go, this is good one. I especially like the way it slices my cucumbers for the perfect cucumber salad. The grater drums are a bit confusing. So far, I've used the large grater, however, instead of grating my cheese, it shredded, which is fine I like the shred.

I have one that I use often. It works great. SoI bought one for a wedding gift. Unfortunately when they opened it the main unit was broken, and since too much time has passed since I bought it they would not replace it. Lesson here ALWAYS check your merchandise when you receive it. The best case scenario is that HSN would replace just the damaged part, since its their own brand. That would be good customer service.

Return made it was not useful to me

I bought this product a few months ago, and then they came out with the new one with more blades. I do not appreciate sneaky events like this. It seems impossible to just buy the other two cutting blades. This tells me, to wait on products, and not buy them so quickly.

People with similar conditions like I have should not buy this product. It is very very hard to try and grate the cheese. I get a lot of pain in my wrist. electric for me from now on

The day after it was delivered I opened the box to use it to make dinner and found parts shattered in pieces. Not HSN fault but transport failure. Requested an exchange but the color on my original order is no longer available. Why cant I add a picture of the shattered item. Cannot recommend if I havent been able to use it.

I use this grater for the first time to grate carrots. The handle kept getting stuck, and I had to keep repositioning the carrots inside the grater or wouldnt grate them. It was annoying but eventually did the job.

I like the idea of this and had a similar one years ago. Unfortunately this one doesn't work as well. I does not stay in place when using it. I keep locking it several times while shredding a block of cheese and it loosens after a few turns of the handle. I had hoped it worked as seen on the show, but it doesn't.

This does slice and dice but I do have to prep the pieces I insert to fit. It doesn't want to stay suctioned to the counter so I have to hold it in place in order to use it.

It shredded vegetables and cheese well, but, the suction base didn't work. Hard to be holding the grater down, pushing food thru and turning the handle. Only have two hands - not three. If the suction cup worked, it would have gotten 5 stars. I have tossed it out.

It cracked on first use. Had to return it.

This thing is not the greatest as it doesnt chop everything. When I tried to cut an onion it turned out runny- like onion water. I will keep it rather than deal with the hassle of trying to return it. But will go back to my old chopper

I thought it would cut fries & make veggie noodles. Good to shred cheese.
